Improving Drainage and Restoring Public Golf Course Infrastructure

Empire Builders Group completed the Osceola Golf Course Drainage and FEMA Improvements project for the City of Pensacola.

The project addressed Hurricane Sally-related damage and drainage concerns within Osceola Golf Course, helping improve stormwater movement through the course and reduce flooding during heavy rainfall. The work supported both course restoration and long-term drainage performance for one of Pensacola’s public recreation facilities.

The drainage improvement project included construction of a major drainage ditch through the golf course, erosion control measures, fencing repairs, sod installation, and related site improvements designed to meet City of Pensacola standards and specifications.

The project included a riprap-lined drainage ditch, erosion control fabric, fencing repair, tree relocation, curbing, flume work, sodding, and related drainage improvements. These upgrades helped stabilize affected areas, improve water flow, and restore the course after Hurricane Sally damage.
