A Public Space Designed to Honor Service and Welcome the Community
Veterans Park Phase I reflects Empire Builders Group’s ability to deliver schedule sensitive civic work with strong coordination, clear communication, and attention to detail. This phase focused on creating the core public and memorial features of the park, establishing a space where visitors can gather, reflect, and connect with the surrounding waterfront setting.
The project included a dedication plaza, honor wall, park benches, pavers surrounding a multi flag display, and eight life size bronze statues honoring women who served. In addition to the memorial elements, the work also included approximately 1,700 linear feet of ADA accessible paved sidewalks and wooden boardwalks, along with landscaping, irrigation, and lighting to support the overall function and presentation of the park.
