Pace Fire Station

Expanding an Active Fire Station While Keeping Emergency Operations Moving

Empire Builders Group completed the Addition to Pace Fire Station #3 for Pace Fire Rescue District, expanding the existing facility to better support firefighter operations and emergency response needs in the Pace community.

The project added living quarters for firefighters while the existing fire station remained operational. This required careful planning, site coordination, and construction sequencing so the station could continue serving the community throughout the project.

In addition to the living quarters, the project included rear emergency entrance doors to the existing apparatus bays. This improvement allows emergency vehicles to pull through and exit without reversing, making the bays functional from both sides of the building and supporting safer, more efficient emergency response.

Built Around the Needs of Firefighters and Emergency Response

KEY FEATURES

Pace Fire Station

Fire station construction requires a strong understanding of daily operations, response timing, equipment movement, and the needs of the personnel who live and work in the facility. For Pace Fire Station #3, Empire Builders Group helped improve both the firefighter support space and the operational flow of emergency vehicles.

The addition created more functional living space for firefighters while improving how apparatus can move through the bay area. By allowing emergency vehicles to enter and exit from both sides of the building, the project helped reduce the need for backing maneuvers and improved the station’s overall response functionality.
