A New Fire Station Built for Modern Emergency Response

Empire Builders Group completed the Miramar Beach Fire Station project for South Walton Fire District, replacing an older station facility with a modern fire station designed to better support emergency response needs in one of Walton County’s growing coastal communities.

The project included demolition of the existing fire station and construction of a new approximately 10,000-square-foot facility. The new station was designed to provide expanded space for firefighters, emergency response vehicles, apparatus operations, daily station functions, and long-term public safety service in Miramar Beach.

This project required careful coordination around an active emergency services environment, with planning focused on continuity of response, construction efficiency, site safety, and the specialized needs of a working fire district.

As Miramar Beach continued to grow, South Walton Fire District needed a larger and more capable facility to support staffing, equipment, and emergency response operations. The reconstructed station provides expanded square footage, improved operational flow, and modern infrastructure for the firefighters and response units serving the area.

The facility includes engine bays, fire house space, site improvements, utilities, drainage, and supporting infrastructure. The completed station gives South Walton Fire District a stronger operational home base for serving residents, visitors, and businesses throughout Miramar Beach.
